The following Accell products allow for firmware upgrades via the mini USB port located on the back of the product;

4x8 HDMI 1.3 Switch, part number K072C-007B (except 3D version)
4x4 HDMI Matrix, part number K072C-008B
1x4 Splitter, K078C-003B

The firmware on this page will only work on the product that it was intended for use on. Do not attempt to use firmware on an incorrect product or for reasons other than listed. Description: This firmware contains all previous firmware updates and is the latest shipping firmware.

-4x8 HDMI 1.3 Switch, part number K072C-007B:
Supported product versions: All HDMI 1.3 models with S/N 4801028 and lower. Does not support 3D supported model -S/N 4801029 and higher.

Description: Improved HDCP support.
When to use: No image is displayed on TV. The 4x8 switch will not recognize the TV due to an incomplete HDCP handshake.

Autoswitching:
Supported product versions: All
Description: Autoswitching
When to use: If the autoswitching feature is desired. Autoswitching may detect when a video source is powered off and auto switch to the next active video source. This firmware is available with Remote codes 1 only.

Description: Unique remote code sets
When to use: If more than one 4x4 matrix is used in the same area the shared remote codes will result in control conflits. New firmware containing a unique set of remote codes can be uploaded to a second and third matrix.
