The UltraCat HDMI 1.3 Cat-5e Super Extender sends a 1080p high-definition HDMI audio and video signal at distances of up to 164 feet using two Cat-5e cables. The UltraCat super extender is HDMI 1.3 High Speed compatible up to 6.75 Gbps (225 MHz).

Easy to Set-Up, Auto-Tuning Design

The UltraCat HDMI 1.3 Cat-5e Super Extender is simple to set-up and use. With your HDMI cable, connect the HDMI Cat-5e transmitter to the HDMI output of your audio/video source. Connect another HDMI cable from the HDMI Cat-5e receiver to the HDMI input of your display. Run two Cat-5e or Cat-6 cables between the transmitter and receiver. Plug the power adapter into the receiver to complete the set-up. The auto-adjusting extenders require no manual tuning or settings. For a secure installation, use the included hardware to mount the extenders.

Sends an 1080p video signal at distances of up to 164 feet

Using two Cat-5e/6 cables:

• Extends 200 feet: 1080i HD, HDMI 1.3 with Deep Color and DTS-HD or Dolby TrueHD Lossless Multi-channel 7.1 Audio*

•Extends 164 feet: 1080p HD, HDMI 1.3 with Deep Color and DTS-HD or Dolby TrueHD Lossless Multi-channel 7.1 Audio*

*All cable lengths are approximate depending on cable quality and environmental RF and EMI. Not all Cat-5e/6 cables are of the same quality. The above supported lengths are achievable using high quality, solid UTP cables that are certified and rated at 350MHz for Cat-5e (500MHz for Cat-6), configured straight through and operating in normal conditions. In normal conditions Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Cat- 5e/6 cables are sufficient, although using Cat6 cable is recommended. In irregular conditions, those environments containing noise from electromagnetic (EMI) or RF interference, a Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) cable used for the video signal cable may provide improved noise immunity over UTP.
