HDMI Switch and Splitter FAQ

My 1x4 splitter does not support 7:1 (8 channels) audio.

Please download and install new firmware if the following 2 cases apply:

Check the system link:

1. Example: connect to HDMI v1.3 audio amp only. Source (provide 8 audio channel source) ----> 1x4 HDMI splitter ----> HDMI v1.3 8 audio channels amp only , the audio amp will provide 8 audio channels


2. Example: Connect to HDMI v1.3 audio amp and 2 channel audio TV Source (provide 8 audio channel source) -----> 1x4 HDMI splitter ----> HDMI v1.3 8 audio channels amp & 2 audio channels TV, the audio system will drop down to 2 channels.

In this case the 1x4 switch is only recognizing the 2 channel audio of the TV in the system link.
